MEDRIX has been partnered with Huế Central Hospital in Huế Vietnam from the very beginning: before MEDRIX was even incorporated! In 1994, LaRelle Catherman traveled to Vietnam as part of a nursing exchange with GroupHealth to study the effects of home treatments for diarrhea. She befriended Dr. Pham Hoang Hung, a gifted pediatric physician at Huế Central Hospital, and a very special partnership developed. MEDRIX has been honored to sponsor and support many projects and programs with Huế Central Hospital in an official capacity since the year 2000. Currently MEDRIX and Huế Central Hospital collaborate on: nursing assessment and leadership, education workshops, IMCI pediatric education, heart surgery sponsorship.
MEDRIX has been partnered with National Children’s Hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam since 2010.
