Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy will partner with MEDRIX to teach a class on the use of maps to visualize public health data. It is said “a picture is worth a thousand words” and mapping data is one way to create meaningful pictures for public health workers by providing helpful clues about the distribution and spread of diseases. The class topics include the use of GIS software for time series analysis, cluster analysis and heatmap visualization of public health data.
Thanks for sharing the update.
