MEDRIX is excited to be participating in the Seattle Foundation’s GiveBIG event on May 5! This is a one-day online event that hundreds of individuals and businesses throughout the Seattle area participate in to support our local nonprofits. On May 5, your donations to MEDRIX go even further: The Seattle Foundation contributes extra funds that are “stretched” to all participating nonprofits who receive donations on this day. The more MEDRIX receives from our supporters, the more “extra” funds we also receive from the Seattle Foundation! Plan on supporting MEDRIX as part of our community’s biggest day of giving of the year!
So what does this mean for our supporters? Get the word out! This is the day to share with your Seattle-based colleagues and friends on why you choose to give to MEDRIX and why May 5 is a great day to support all local nonprofits through the GiveBIG event. Share a link on your Facebook, tell the world #WhyIGiveBig on Twitter and Instagram, and make a special donation online on May 5 through the Seattle Foundation’s website.
GiveBIG goes beyond using your wallet on May 5. We need you to use your voice, too. Spreading the word about The Seattle Foundation’s one-day giving event is crucial – the more people that know how to help make a difference, the more successful GiveBIG 2015 will be. Give with your voice.
